Ireland ‘A’ won again today in the ECB Women’s County Championship Division 5 when they defeated Cumbria by 28 runs.
It is Ireland’s debut season in the County Championship and it is proving to be a successful one. In a Group with Cumbria, Suffolk and Northumberland, Ireland had already defeated Suffolk at the end of May by 5 wickets.
Tomorrow if they win against Northumberland will put them in a play-off for promotion to Division 4.
