Paul Stirling has signed a 3-year deal with Middlesex but remains committed to representing Ireland.
Stirling who will play in the U19 World Cup in New Zealand has been involved with the Middlesex youth teams and Second XI but now has been given a 3-year full-time deal.
Unlike Ed Joyce and Eoin Morgan before him, Stirling has stipulated that his priority will be to represent Ireland.
Angus Fraser Middlesex’s Managing Director of Cricket, is quoted on the Middlesex CCC website as saying this is something he is ‘happy with… for the time being.’
