Railway Union remembers Grainne Casey this weekend, a busy one for the Club

This Sunday 23rd August Railway Union is remembering Grainne Casey with a Grainne Casey Memorial "Past V Present" Cricket Match

Grainne Casey
was a talented cricketer with Railway Union who lost her fight with cancer over the winter.

A memorial game will take place between Railway ‘Past’ and ‘Present’ teams, The funds will be raised to help combat breast cancer.

It promises to be a fun, colourful and poignant day.

Girls match at 12.30
       - Ladies match at 3.00
       - Barbeque at 7.30

Meanwhile on Saturday 22nd, in the Senior League Section A, there is the crucial top of the table home clash with The Hills. With both clubs in contention, it promises to be a pivotal match in deciding the outcome of this season’s title race.

(This and the other weekend’s Senior Fixtures will be previewed later in the week.)

After the match with The Hills an Indian Feast Night takes place at 8pm. Tickets are €15.

Also on Saturday, Railway Union 3rds and 5ths have away games against Leinster and The Hills respectively.

The 3rds are also in action on Sunday, this time away to CYM.
