The Munster Cricket Union today announced the draw for the 2010 Munster Senior Cup.
The draw sees the two favourites, Cork Harlequins and Cork County, separated in the draw as a result of seeding.
Defending champions Cork Harlequins begin their defence with a home draw against Co. Kerry. This will be a welcome draw for the Farmers Cross men as they managed to avoid the unknown quantity of new comers Limerick Raiders.
The standout tie is the meeting of Galway and 2008 winners Cork County in a repeat of last year's round one clash; this time it will take place in Galway. Galway shocked a somewhat under strength County side on that occasion, going all the way to final where they came up short against 'Quins on a weather effected pitch.
