Result, Sunday 13th September:
Cork Harlequins 311 (Ted Williamson 121, Cormac Wilcox 53, Ian Rutland 3-44) beat Kerry 58 all out 12.3 overs (Mourne Bauer 5-19, Cory Atkinson 4-39, Ian Rutland 25*) by 253 runs.
Cork Harlequins kept up their quest for another Senior League and Cup double with a convincing win over a weakened Kerry side at Farmer's Cross on Sunday.
Having won the toss Harlequins set a steady run rate and were 101 for 1 after 18 overs. Ted Williamson and Cormac Wilcox kept the pressure on the Kerry bowling and helped Quins to an innings total of 311 for 8.
Ian Rutland (3-44), Alam Morshed (2-29) and Sean Rutland (2-29) were the pick of the Kerry bowlers.
It was a daunting task for Kerry who were soon in trouble losing 6 wickets in the first 5 overs of their innings. Fast, accurate bowling by Quins Captain, Mourne Bauer, tore through the Kerry batsmen. Only Ian Rutland (25) offered any resistance to the power of the Quins bowling hitting three fours and a six.
Under 13 inter-pro Rue Jones took the final wicket after only 12.3 overs.
