A training squad has been selected for winter coaching sessions, currently being held at North County Cricket Club. The eight coaching sessions run since October have given the boys an opportunity to develop their skills and to improve their chances of selection onto this summer's Leinster U'17's squad.
As well as playing in this year's interprovincial series, some of this squad will also take part in the Leinster Development tour to the North East of England in June. The now annual 'Hilton Newcastle Gateshead' cricket festival will take place in Newcastle and will involve games against Northern Universities Student Club - Community Cricketers Elite (NUSC).
