It's back to league action this weekend. In Division 1, I shall drive down to the 'Mines (now that I think of it, I might ask the War Office to drive me down so I can enjoy a few pints afterwards) and watch Leinster lose to North County.
Elsewhere, Railway will hammer Terenure in the 'Nure, Merrion will edge out The Hills in Anglesea Road, and Clontarf, having discovered how to score runs, will score too many at Claremont Road for YMCA. I must reveal that this prediction was demanded by Alan Lewis, and I always do what Baby Lew asks - he is, after all, my insurance broker.
In Division 2, the woes of Leinster 2 will continue at Cabra, where the rampant Jesuits' former pupils will triumph. Dublin University should be too strong for Phoenix in the Park. Likewise, Pembroke should be too good for Cork County in Sydney Parade. As far as I know, the Malahide ground is still not ready, so the match against Rush will have to be refixed.
