Comments
The balance of the team was fine: four all-rounders; two bats; two bowlers; a (third choice) keeper; and two bits and pieces players. One all-rounder, George Dockrell, missed over half the season with Ireland, another, Carlos Brathwaite, did very well, but most of the others disappointed. Matches which could (should) have been won weren't, so the team got relegated. Lots of hard work and planning will be needed for an immediate return to Division 1.
For each side is presented a summary of team and individual performances, plus a few comments. Statistics are derived from all matches (League, Leinster Senior Cup, Irish Senior Cup) in which there was at least one innings completed (including two no results).
