In the Intervarsity Final WIT won the toss and elected to bat in a 40 over match and got off to a flyer - 113-2 after 27 overs thanks to 71 from Sunil Kumar.
The turning point of the match came when Sean McAuley took 3 wickets in 2 overs. WIT were bowled out for 175. The wickets were shared around, Amir Anwar 1, Ryan Hopkins 2, Eoghan Delany 1, Sean McAuley 3, Anish Raghavan 1 and two run outs to close the innings.
Dublin University then knocked off the runs in 24.1 overs for the loss of no wicket, Ryan Hopkins managing 114* from 77 balls (including 6 sixes) and Richard Forrest 56* from 68 balls.
