Terenure are currently 3rd in Leinster Division 2 and with two matches left are still in a chance of promotion. It is a remarkable turnaround in fortunes for the club who lost all 10 matches in the old 'Section B' in 2009.
To gain the second promotion spot Terenure need to win their final two matches - away to leaders Phoenix on Saturday and at home to Cork County on 28th August. It will be a tall order but in their Aussie pro, Shane Mott Terenure have a match-winner.
In 11 appearances this season (including Irish Cup match) Mott has taken 22 wickets at an average of 17.18 and an economy rate of 3.61.
