Readers of this website will know how important a part cricket played in the early development of the ground.
Ger Siggins is Assistant Editor of the Sunday Tribune, where he has written about cricket for a quarter of a century. He has been a contributor to Cover Point since its earliest days.
'Raiders of the Caribbean', his collaboration with Trent Johnston on the World Cup, was shortlisted for two book awards in 2007.
