So far in this series, from Leinster we have featured Tomas Murphy from The Hills and Ryan Hopkins from Pembroke.
The third Cover Point selection of young players from Leinster is Dhruv Kapoor.
Not short of ambition, the Railway Union teenager is, Cover Point believes, one to watch out for in 2010 and beyond.

Dhruv Kapoor of Railway Union
Railway Union vice-Captain, Kenny Carroll speaks highly of the youngster, who will be 17 later this month:
'Dhruv is a very talented all-rounder.
He is a stylish batsman batsman who is very 'wristy'. He came up with the goods last season with the bat when Railway were 'under the cosh' so it shows that he has a good temperament.
Bowling-wise, he is a medium pace seam bowler who is very accurate.
Fielding, last season he fielded in the covers for Railway, which is impressive considering the fielding quality in that team. He is very nimble on his feet.
Overall I would say Dhruv is a very promising cricketer who will be looking to get into the Ireland under 19s in the near future.'

Interview
CP: When did you start to play cricket?
DK: When I was about 8 years old I played my first match at under 9 level.
CP: What sparked your interest in the game?
DK: My father used to play for his hospital's team when my family lived in Scotland and I used to watch from the sideline with great interest.
CP: Favourite cricketer and why?
DK: Sachin Tendulkar because he has been playing the game for 20 years and he is great to watch.
CP: Ambitions for 2010?
DK: My ambitions for 2010 are to get selected for the Ireland under 17 team, to score at least 2 fifities for Railway's 1st team and to win the Irish Senior Cup with Railway.
CP: Ambitions beyond 2010?
DK: I would love to play in an under 19 world cup and to continue being successful with Railway
CP: Proudest achievement to date?
DK: My proudest achievement to date is taking 30 balls to get off the mark against Munster in the interpros in 2008 and ending up scoring 102 and also sharing a 250 run partnership in that match with Barry McCarthy.
CP: Biggest disappointment to date?
DK: Not getting a game in the under 13's European championship in 2005.
CP: What else are you passionate about?
DK: I'm passionate about doing charity work. I have worked in Oxfam and I am going to El Salvador in March this year on a school trip organised by Habitat for Humanity to build houses for people without homes there.
I am also passionate about music and history.
CP: What other interests have you / what other sports do you play?
DK: I used to play rugby and football but stopped when I got into 5th year to concentrate on the Leaving Cert.
CP: What could Irish cricket be doing (if anything) that it is not doing already to make the sport more popular?
DK: I feel that cricket in Ireland is not covered as well as it should be in the newspapers and on the television and I feel that this is necessary for the sport to become more popular and for Ireland to achieve test status.
