BRIEF HISTORY OF CRICKET IN GUERNSEY
Cricket has been played in Guernsey since the late years of the 19th century when the MCC made annual visits to play Elizabeth College. The Guernsey Cricket Association was formed in 1927 and the Guernsey Cricket Board was founded in 2004 ahead of Guernsey joining the ICC in 2005.

Since its inception in 1982 no club has won the Irish Senior Cup (ISC) as often as North County. It is a remarkable achievement for the Balrothery club especially given that it won it for the first time as recently as 2001 (winning it every second year since).
